5 months...

Wow what a wonderful month we've had! You celebrated your first Christmas and New Years and you did great! We also got to celebrate your daddy's birthday, his first one as your daddy! Let's go through all of your accomplishments this past month...

-you learned how to hit high notes when you scream
-you got your first fever (101.5) and didn't seem to care at all as you acted completely normal
-rolled over from your back to your belly 2 times. Daddy and I were eating dinner and we turned around and you were on your belly!
-learning to talk in your crib when waking up and to entertain yourself rather than immediately begin crying.
-you're ticklish, and your giggles are the best
-you sleep through the night without waking up for feedings anymore, maybe just simply for your pacifier to put you back to sleep
-finally learning to sleep with your arms out of your SwaddleMe as you're adjusting to your little reflexes
-you put everything in your mouth now
-with support, you're able to stand without your legs immediately giving out
-you love sticking your tongue out at everyone
-you've become a screamer
-you survived your 2nd fever (high of 103.1) right after Christmas!!
-tried your first foods (banana, cantaloupe) and loved it!!!
-you hit these notes with your voice and sound like Mariah Carey! You smile as you're amused by it
-you've begun to get interested in water and absolutely love grabbing for cups now so you can drink some water too
-you LOVE sticking your tongue out all the time now
-you've begun to really notice the dogs and have started to touch them on your own

I absolutely have enjoyed being your mommy, and as you're recovering from being sick and waking me up all night long, I still enjoy the moments that I have with you. I can't wait until you're feeling 100% better!

I look forward to the next month as you grow and reach being 6 months old! I love you my little sweetheart! MWAH!

Love,
Mommy
